Job Description

The deadline for sending the applications with recordings for the videoround is 13 April 2026.

The stage audition will be held on 4 June at 3 p.m. in Tallinn, at the Estonia Concert Hall.

    In the videoround, please send us the link to a video recording where you perform one piece of candidate’s own choice from the following (with cadenza, accompaniment allowed):
    Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – Violin Concerto No 3 G major, k. 216: 1st MOV;
    Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – Violin Concerto No 4 D major, k. 218: 1st MOV or
    Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – Violin Concerto No 5 A major, k.219: 1st MOV.

  • Audition

    For the stage audition please prepare:

    I ROUND:

    • one piece of candidate’s own choice from the following (with cadenza):
      Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – Violin Concerto No 3 G major, k. 216: 1st MOV;
      Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – Violin Concerto No 4 D major, k. 218: 1st MOV or
      Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – Violin Concerto No 5 A major, k.219: 1st MOV
      and
    • orchestral excerpts.

    II ROUND:

    • first movement (with cadenza) of a romantic violin concerto of candidate’s own choice from the following composers – Jean Sibelius, Pjotr Tchaikovski, Johannes Brahms, Antonín Dvořák, Felix Mendelssohn or Ludwig van Beethoven;
      and
    • orchestral excerpts.
